| Ngartimarnu is the name for some of Boxer's
traditional country, which is along the middle stretches of
Sturt Creek or Purkitji. The bold, white, central cross depicts
the channel of Purkitji, running "proper with milk water".
The milk water comes from the white clay soils in part of
the catchment area. The small, hook shapes are some of the
many small tributaries for this section of Purkitji, in particular
some country called Kitjingarra. The back ground colours show
some of the different soil types of the area. |
