| Lucy has painted some country called
Marlarr. This place takes its name from the soakwater, or
tjurrnu, shown here as the central circle. This tjurrnu, Marlarr
is near Well 33 on The Canning Stock Route. The small dots
surrounding Marlarr depict kantilli, or bush raisins which
grow in abundance here. Above and below are shown the tali,
or sand dunes which dominate the landscape of the area. |
